Ancient Druid Teleportation Gates

The vast kingdom of Avalon can be explored on foot or on a horse (that is if you’ve gathered enough wealth to buy one). And if you’re adventurous, you can ride on the back of a tamed black wolf. Distances are far and passages are perilous. Even if you survive the monsters and bandits hiding at every corner, you may still risk starvation.

However, the ancient druids built multiple portals across Avalon that can be used by its inhabitants to travel faster between cities, villages, and harbors.

Travelers will need to pay a small passage fee if they chose to travel through these Portals, a large percentage of which goes to the Portal NFT owners. This makes portals one of the most desirable and lucrative NFTs in Avalon.

The portal NFT deed grants ownership of a portal gate that is already deployed near busy areas of the world, such as towns or harbors.

A portal will act as a shortcut for players who wish to avoid traveling on foot, getting them to their desired location faster by teleport.

Players will need to pay a small convenience fee to the portal owner in order to use it.

These teleportation gates will be the most popular way to travel across the vast world of Avalon.

In order to gain access to portals, players need to complete "The Druid Portal Quests 1-5" and attain at least level 10.

Portal owners are required to recharge portals with druid ore, which is available at the forge or via the "Druid Temple" quest.

Portal NFTs can be upgraded with resources and experience. For example, a single-destination portal (such as a harbor-village portal) can be leveled up to a multi-destination one (such as a Village-Harbor-Dungeon-Blood Valley portal).

In order to add more destinations to the Portal NFT, the owner will need to use in-game resources such as the Glowing Druid Ore as well as a certain amount of $AVL tokens to pay a small upgrade fee.

In Avalon, the minimum teleportation fee is set at 5 $AVL. However, the Portal NFT owner may set higher prices at their own discretion in order to stay competitive with other Portal NFT owners, and depending on traffic and demand.
