The windmill NFT deed grants ownership of a windmill building with material storage and an in-game small popup store. Windmill owners can make flour, sugar, and salt, as well as baked goods and ground animal feed.
Mills are one of the key structures in the kingdom and provide health recovery goods and essential quest items, as well as on-demand services such as flour production. Mills generate income for their owners as well as provide support to community food banks.
Village Mill (Level 1) - This is the first and most basic Mill avaliable in the game. It can be upgraded with time and experienece in order to create higher-grade items with bigger health and stamina boost.
Here are a few examples of the items that a Level 1 Mill can produce in the upcoming beta-test:
Common Bread 25% health recovery.
Berry Bread 40% health recovery.
Honey Bread 50% health recovery.
Now, let us take a closer look at the benefits of owning a Mill NFT:
A Mill NFT is fully automated and it is therefore perfect for players who are interested in the more passive play-to-earn style of gaming.
The Mill NFT is basically a food processing plant. Players can gather/harvest wheat and barley from the surrounding fields and farms, input them into the Mill, and subsequently receive bread and other food items in return for a small Mill processing fee, payable to the Mill NFT owner.
All playable characters in Avalon require food intake to replenish their health and energy. As such, Mills are conveniently placed in strategic high traffic locations such as raid gates, entrances to villages, and all major cross roads in order to maximize sales and usability.
Mill owners can store any extra manufactured goods in Food Banks at a small fee which is payable to Food Bank NFT owners. The stored food can later be sold, traded, or exported to other villages or islands where there is a scarcity of such material. This potentially allows for a second route of revenue.
As a Mill owner, you are able to take custom food orders from other players. It is up to Mill owners to use their discretion in setting manufacturing prices (we encourage owners to stay competitive with other Mill owners in their pricing) as long as they meet the minimum of 1 $AVL per item created. Keep in mind that Avalon Treasury receives 10% of your sales as commission.
Your Mill business can expect a spike in sales prior to any raids or long adventures as players restock on food items. Keep in mind that health regeneration has been set to very low and players need food to survive.
Finally, the following lists some of the benefits that the Mill NFT provides to its community:
It is relatively easy for players to find grains and other resources necessary to input into the Mill NFT in order to create bread and other food items. Fields and farms are located nearby.
Players who wish to use the Mill's services to manufacture food must pay a small processing fee in $AVL. $AVL can be gained by hunting wolves, elks, and bears as well as discovering secret locations that hold treasure chests containing $AVL.
Manufacturing food items using the Mill can increase your chances of survival significantly during raids and battles as food replenishes your health and energy. This is especially the case if your team of players does not include a healing Druid.
