The Dragons of Avalon
This chapter of our Lite Paper only scratches the surface in describing Avalon’s magnificent dragons. Indeed, it is up to the players to uncover the veils of their mystery. Undoubtedly, these wondrous dragons are the most fearsome creatures in the game.
In the skies of Avalon, there have been sightings of three distinguished types of dragons: The Fire Dragon, The Water Dragon, and The Ice Dragon. Here is what is known about them so far:
Fire Dragons
The Fire Dragon is the largest in size but, understandably, slowest in speed. They are known for their powerful flame throwing breath that can effortlessly decimate an entire army of enemies. They are mighty and loyal fighters in battle, be it in the sky or on the ground.
Legend has it that a few Fire Dragon eggs rest in the deepest caves of Volcania, where lava hot temperatures have kept them warm for thousands of years. Beware, however, hidden within these dark and terrifying caves are evil beasts and demons who protect the eggs at all costs. Only the most courageous and powerful druids and mages dare to seek them. You have been forewarned…
Water Dragons
As champions of underwater ocean environments, Water Dragons are known for their ability to dive in, swim, and stay submerged in water for extended periods of time. This makes them the most desirable ride to explore underwater caves and sinkholes.
Using their powerful and destructive talons, Water Dragons are fearless in launching attacks on the enemy’s ship convoys. They are, however, unable to fight on land.
Legend has it that the shores of a remote island in Avalon houses a few Water Dragon eggs. To discover the location of this island would require not only a mighty ship, but a ferocious captain who is able to guide its crew through the tumultuous ocean waters and fight off ruthless pirates.
Ice Dragons
The Ice Dragon is said to be the deadliest and most feared dragon in the Kingdom of Avalon. Although smallest in size, it makes up for it in night vision and speed. Its icy breath is able to freeze an entire army of enemies in the blink of an eye. This makes the Ice Dragon the hardest to kill.
Ice Dragon eggs can possibly be found on the bottom of a remote glacier lake, or deep in the ice caps of the highest mountains of Avalon. Only a well-planned expedition with relentless teammates can survive the freezing weathers of these high altitudes. The safe return of the eggs would also require casting the "Frozen Soul" spell by a capable Druid.
We hope you enjoyed this short introduction to Avalon’s dragons. Stay tuned to learn more about the Dragon egg hatching process.
